The Strengthening Families process is a way for families to get coordinated access to multiple services. It is run in a way that meets the unique needs of families/ whanau. Strengthening Families builds on the strengths and hopes of families with the help of external support agencies.

SUPPORT FOR GRANDPARENTS RAISING GRANDCHILDREN, KIN AND NON-KIN CAREGIVERS

Community Services provides support for grandparents, great grandparents, whanau and agency caregivers who are caring for tamariki. 

We provide everything from financial mentoring, advocacy, parenting skills programmes, counselling and social work and all of these services are FREE.
