We are honored to have been chosen by Save the Rain, a non-profit charity, to assist with food delivery and support their objectives. As a long-standing partner of our Trust, they understand the growing need for food security.

Together, we will be commencing our second Winter Food Initiative mid-July, and this year we’re aiming to extend our support even further. We invite the community to participate by nominating yourself or someone you know who would benefit from receiving a food package.

We are grateful to our partners who share our vision and commitment to ensuring that no family goes without nutritious food this winter.

How It Works:

1. Nominate Someone in Need: Nominate yourself or someone in our community who could use a little extra help this winter. This could be a neighbour, friend, or family member who might be struggling to put food on the table.

2. Confidential and Respectful: All nominations are confidential. We respect the privacy and dignity of those receiving assistance.

3. Food Packages: Each food package will include fresh seasonal produce and protein.

4. Delivery: Our team will reach out to the nominees to obtain their consent to receive a food package. Delivery available or pick up from our office on 18th July 2025. 

How to Nominate:

• Fill this online nomination form or pop into our community center (505 Port Road, Whangamata) for a paper copy. 

• Submit the form by 11th July 2025.
